This British experimental sound artist has many names he produces under, BASIC TAPE LOOPS, Febrile, Relay Station, Fencepost, and Sunken Lanes, to name a few. Over the years he has accumulated an extensive catalog of diverse releases on many labels. He also runs the <1 label, initiates collaborative projects, and curates different radio shows.

In Degradation, one of his calmer works, you will find his signature sound but as always also many surprises. The eight sound collages of this album combine field recordings, tape loops, and noises.
