furcloy – purple sage

branching melodies well
     insulated feedback
      a faint song
       low tempo flatlands
        coastal dune tree attuning
         myriad orbs the meridian
           Hyperboreal light dance

With purple sage, furcloy presents an atmospherically dense album at the intersection of electroacoustic and drone music. The guitar takes center stage—but far removed from traditional playing styles: through the targeted use of loops and multifaceted effects, expansive soundscapes are created that are both hypnotic and experimental.

furcloy (David Bradley) explores layered aesthetics of sound and song. His vision developed sonorously while residing in Prague and playing in the noise duo Wailstrom. He’s currently based in Michigan.
