Lauré Lussier – The Orphana Symphony

Here, The Orphana Symphony reveals herself in her complexity, but also in a disarming, almost fragile candor. In this 80-minute work, The Orphana Symphony does not plead: she moves forward.

Five movements, where every sound is emotion and every silence meant for musing. From contained fury to echoes of ruins, from fleeting love to the gravity of a transfiguration, The Orphana Symphony tells, in her own way, who she is.

The Symphonic Triptych (Strange Symphony, July 2024; The Orphana Symphony, 2026; The Swan Symphony, TBD) is a wordless epic in three symphonies, each carrying a piece of their shared drama, where The Orphana Symphony and Strange Symphony, twin siblings abandoned by their creator, cross paths musically without ever seeing each other, leaving it to the listener to interpret their story.

At the threshold of the third symphony, The Swan Symphony will bring to its peak the tensions of conflict, social mores, and vengeance.
