Malísisma – 00000
I recently lost the part of myself that made my eyes shine, so I’ve recently been trying to bring it back with the tapes it’s been dropping me as hints. I found this one under my bed while cleaning out my childhood bedroom.
Malísima (it/she/they) understood art for the first time one Tuesday at 8 a.m., crying in the street in La Seu D’Urgell on her way to an art baccalaureate class that she would drop out of three months later.
Self-described as an “avant-garde experimentalist” and referred to as “really bad (in the head)” by those in her close environment, she resorts to pop culture or her poor psycho-emotional health as influential factors in her work.
Without knowing where she is from or how old she is, she seeks to build a sonic home (and make a living, which isn’t bad either) through bastardically contemporary productions that put as ingredients all the factors, both interior and exterior, of the environment of her day-to-day life.
And sometimes, no-input mixing, because who doesn’t like an impossible love story?
“Sometimes I thought about what time it was. Then I was on the verge of tears. Then I laughed a lot.” – Amnesia Scanner, AS ANGELS RIG HOOK
