Solo1 – coco dreams of summer

The album was conceived on long walks in the fields and woods near where I live across Summer 2025, crossing Precambrian rocky hills, cutting through native woodland, abandoned farmsteads and new build housing estates. Similar in approach to my “damaged polaroid” series of “re -purposed” polaroid photographs, tracks were re worked and layered over a number of months until completed. Dust devils, heavy haze, cornfield polaroid dreams all add to a sense of (Midland) dreamtime, an esoteric, hypnagogic remapping of the layers of place and time that surround and inspire me.

“coco dreams of summer,” was created using Ciat-Lonbarde, Cocoquantus , Plumbutter and Rolzer modular synths created by Peter Blasser.

Solo1 (Andy Billington) is a UK (Midlands) based multidiscipline artist who makes seasonal electronic music from dust, broken tapes and lost loops.

Parts of the proceeds will be donated to a homeless shelter in Leipzig.
