Grifty Phono Plastic – The Beginning Of Something New

The Beginning Of Something New is one single piece, evoking memories still to come. The unknown is not yet described, not yet filled with feelings, smells, or pictures we can memorize. It can be frightening as well as heartwarming—maybe both at the same time. We may try to compare it to something that we already know, for lack of better words. But perhaps this should only be the starting point, the beginning of something new.

Grifty Phono Plastic is an expatriate living in Leipzig. To realize his musical ideas, he uses conventional instruments as well as what is given at the very moment. This can be a pencil and a glass of water as well as an unexpected but interesting field recording made with a dictaphone, to be altered and reshaped at some later time. He also enjoys working with others, be it long-term band projects or one-off opportunities. Feel free to contact him via his Bandcamp site!
