Lauré Lussier – The Swan Symphony

The Swan Symphony is the third and final work of the Symphonic Triptych. Strange Symphony (July 2024) and The Orphana Symphony (March 2026) have already been heard, two twin works, born of the same impulse, both abandoned by their creator, the Composer. The first was exposed to judgment. The other was concealed, so it would not endure the same fate.
But this final work is not theirs. It is his.
For the first time, the Composer speaks.
He does not search for words.
He keeps to what remains within. He remembers their echoes, those he himself brought to life, as one recalls what never truly left.
They follow him, for they do not release him.
His rest resists. Regret persists. Remorse settles.
Finally, silence answers. That which was veiled draws breath.
