Lauré Lussier – The Triptych Symphony

“An imagined tale in which a composer, in haste and cowardice, abandons two of his creations.”

From this is born The Triptych Symphony, an electro orchestral work in three acts, where electroacoustic forces, orchestra, and chamber writing converge into this expansive form.
Each act stands as a symphony unto itself, vast in scope and character, yet all three remain bound by this underlying mythic narrative.
From it, all else unfolds.

This triptych includes all previous released works: Strange Symphony, The Orphana Symphony and The Swan Symphony.

Lauré Lussier is a electro orchestral music composer and sound artist based in Montréal, Canada. His work delves into the intricate realms of sound texture, timbre and form, with particular attention to the interaction between electroacoustic music and orchestral music. This interaction forms the backbone of his compositions, leading to profoundly original musical creations.
