“sun damaged radio” was created in the same period as “coco dreams of summer” and follows a comparable process of layering, reworking and revealing of hidden melodies and textures in songs realised on long walks across the UK Midland landscape where I live. Ciat- Lonbarde modular synths formed the basis of tracks reworked across multiple weeks, slowed, degraded, retaped and reworked, acting as a sonic diary to Summer 2025. “As high summer approached the sun damaged radio played our songs”…

Solo1 (Andy Billington) is a UK (Midlands) based multidiscipline artist who makes seasonal electronic music from dust, broken tapes and lost loops.

Parts of the proceeds will be donated to a homeless shelter in Leipzig.
