Pietro Zollo – IOXIO

IOXIO is the ninth album by Italian sound artist Pietro Zollo.
As one can see, 10 is the theme of this release resulting not only in ten tracks with a length of ten minutes each, it also has an image that is divided into ten squares.

In spiritual circles, the number 10 is the symbol of the completion of a life’s circle and the beginning of a new one. For mathematicians, the number 10 is the perfect number and it is also the base of our mathematic system.
But maybe there is another way to perceive these ten tracks of ambient, noise and drone sounds with neo-classical elements and field recordings.
